Hey everyone, CykaDev here!
Would you look at that! We finally got the sprite in the game (Wait, did I say we? I meant to say I. It was my fault.) and… Incredible, it’s our third weekly news that are actually on time. I’m telling you, this is a revolution.
Let’s see, what’s new this week?
For starters, I was supposed to take a ten day break, as a long time friend came to visit me for a little bit. He was (nice?) enough to tell me to at least get some work done during the day, so I’m really thankful for that. While I can’t have the same efficiency I had last week, there’s definitely a hefty amount of work getting done. I mean, we passed the million last week, that really gave me the inspiration to keep going. Milestones can change a man, I tell you.
Now, the statistics! At the current moment, we have a total of 219.974 lines for 1.079.788 words. I’ve been thinking about how much work is left, and honestly, I’m pretty scared. Scared, because there’s much less than I expected, and things are happening quickly. (You expected me to bring bad news, huh?)
While I still can’t give a precise ETA, I do think that the writing will be done in a rather small amount of time (compared to the year you’ve all had to wait up until now). It just depends on a few story-related elements I still have to figure out. My corkboard is overflowing and I don’t have space for any more notes, so I’m gonna have to find a way to fix that too.
By the way, the website’s still going along just fine. I’m in the middle of making the administrator panel, and it looks absolutely sexy.
Before finishing up these news, just a little information: I might be taking part in an interview sometime soon. I’m not giving any details for now, but if it does happen, I’ll make sure to include it in the weekly news! Who knows, there might be some extra information you didn’t get on our website.
Anyways, I apologize for the rather short news, but there wasn’t that much stuff to be said, and I didn’t want to beat around the bush. I hope you’ll be having a wonderful week, and I’ll see you in the next weekly news! (On time? You’ll discover that in a week.)
